Every Tuesday evening during the summer months the club puts on time trials on either our Tingrith Circuit (a bit hilly and a few potholes!) or the B530. At Tingrith we'll ride either 2 or 3 laps (8 or 12 miles) and the B530 course is 10 miles.

HQ for the events is at our Club Room at the Culcheth Centre, Redbourne School.

We are fortunate to welcome a range of riders of various ages (from age 12 to well, no maximum, we regularly have riders in their late 70s!) abilities and motivations. The main thing is to have fun and challenge yourself to better your own performances! We compete for both 'scratch' and 'handicap' prizes to ensure it isn't just those at the pointy end taking home the silverware at the end of the season.

Everyone is welcome to come and try a few events. Entry fees are £5 for over 18s and free for juniors - all entries are made online: Evening League Entries where you will also find the schedule and other details.

Further afield, the club is very active in local 'Open' time trials, organised by various clubs under the Cycling Time Trials organisation. There is a great camaraderie within the club at these events - we often aim to compete together...and try to challenge for various individual and team club records. We keep track of how we are all going on our Open Time Trials page which shows which events weve entered and keeps track of results, records and PBs.

As well as competing in Opens, we also organise three throughout the season:

• A sporting 30k in April on the F12/30K
• A mid season 10 on the on F15/10
• An end of season's 'slower than' on the F11/10
